Women's Support Group: Coming out Later in Life
Coming out later in life is both liberating and deeply complex. This supportive group is for women exploring or embracing their identity after years in heterosexual relationships or marriage. Together, we'll navigate the grief of leaving behind familiar roles, relationships, and identities while building a life that feels authentic.
Together, we'll explore topics such as:
-
Grieving the life and identity you once knew while making space for the life you're creating.
-
Navigating separation, divorce, co-parenting, and changes in family relationships.
-
Rebuilding a sense of self outside of long-held roles and expectations.
-
Learning to live independently and creating a life that reflects your authentic values.
-
Understanding the emotional differences between heterosexual and sapphic relationships.
-
Building healthy boundaries, communication skills, and secure attachment in new relationships.
-
Managing feelings of fear, shame, guilt, or "starting over."
-
Finding community, connection, joy, and confidence as you embrace this new chapter.
This is a confidential, judgment-free space where every stage of the journey is welcome. You don't have to have all the answers to belong here. Whether you're just beginning to question your identity or have already come out and are adjusting to your new reality, you'll be met with compassion, validation, and support from others walking a similar path.
The group will be a closed group that will last about 8 weeks. It will meet weekly on Mondays from 5pm - 6:15pm starting August 3rd.
Cost: $40/per session
This is a virtual group and a link will be provided when you sign up.
